Phoenix Rising is back! And I've been working hard with ~TyranitarDark making some new areas. So this is one of three I'm uploading tonight.

Note that the PokÚStrap is not included in these screens, simply because I'm showing off the area and basically too lazy to play through the game to the point where you receive it, just for screenshots :p

So it's just a very well done Illusion?
And is there a way to make the game more zoomed in like yours is? I can't stand the camera being far away from my camera sprite....Well, assuming your's is zoomed in from the default.

I don't know what you mean? I'm not trying to make it look "3D", I just use the standard RMXP engine, same goes for the camera.

This is what I mean, I'm using RMVX ACE but I'm way too zoomed out. I feel Like you can see too much at once.

That'd be your screen size/resolution. Try seeing if you can lower it.

Disregard my last comment, I changed the resolution. Thank you so much for the help, but one problem remains. At the bottom of each map, one tile area is repeated from the top. I don't have on the scroll option.

won't the hiker block your way, if he stands in front of the log? i imagine you walking 2 steps to the right, he sees you, go over to you, engage you inj battle, blocking the log that's only 1 tile wide. Sorry if i'm overthinking this!

You can set his line of sight, which is what I'm doing. So he can only walk up to you once you're at the start of the log :]

Haha, I have a hiker who says "Don't be deceived by my looks" before the battle starts. I like the bird's nest at the cliff. Can you interact with the event my any chance? Also, I suggest reducing the height of the cliff stairs, as they are currently taller than the cliff itself. Otherwise, a really nicely looking map. The grass has some nice texture to it.

Haha coincidence! I'm trying to think of some ideas regarding the birds in their nests, because I'm not leaving it as a static "stop animation" sprite. Something needs to happen.

And I totally forgot to fix those. Literally streamed & mapped for 8 hours straight last night and forgot about some post-production on certain tiles haha

Thanks! But sorry buddy, when we make custom tiles for PR, we just make them for PR. Otherwise what's the point in making a game if you give people the work you do for it? :p
