This is actually a WIP, I don't much like posting WIP's, but I will today since it has been a while. Another collaboration between me and ~TyranitarDark. Also considering adding in the following overworlds, thoughts?
If you don't mind me asking, are you using an rpg maker? If so which one? I'm thinking about possibly creating a fan game of rune factory, just for fun, but I'm not sure which rpg maker to use. (I honestly don't know much about making games, even though I'm going to take some classes soon, but I want to try and learn)
Oh, and the trees, the water, the lotus leaves, the grass, the little well (right?), it all looks so perfect! The only thing I didn't like as much is the rock on the lower left. It just doesn't seem to fit in as well as the others. Get rid of that one and it should look a lot better (at least to my eyes). The goldeen are great too!
And yes, following overworlds is definitely something I'd like to see!
The reason I say the player is not centered correctly is because he is not. The ribbon at the bottom takes up part of the screen, so instead of the whole game screen being counted as 240 px high, it should be counted as 192 px high, because your GAME screen is only 320 x 192. If your method was applied on DS games, the player would be centered inbetween the two screens, which is incorrect. If you still have no idea what I'm talking about look at this [link] here
The reason I say it's a mockup is because you don't have the feature of the Pokemon following the player (as you said so yourself), so the Arcanine on the strip at the bottom and behind you was edited in. Also, knowing RMXP and dependent events, the Arcanine is an incorrect amount of pixels behind the player, where it should be exactly 32 px behind (one tile size). I also doubt that you have the flying leaves successfully added in the game.
The strap is done. We've had this conversation. Would you like me to prove that to you?
And yes the OW was added in, hence the question. But the script is created - [link]
I don't know what you're assuming about me, my team and my game. But this is the first not 100% completed screenshot in my entire gallery, and the only thing not ready about it is the OW following script, and the fact that the map/tiles are a WIP.
However if you are interested in me whipping up a video or a .gif or something to show that the strap is working I'd be happy to.
